This is a very important part of my overall well-being. Having my people and my tribe around is key. I’ll admit, even though over the years my circle got smaller, and I’m not one who has to see everyone all the time, those in the tribe are are those who get me and those I know got me.
I believe that you don’t meet people by chance. Everyone in your life is there for a purpose and you are where you are supposed to be on your life journey. It’s not always pleasant or a positive experience I recognize that BUT we learn from it and it makes us stronger and wiser.
My people are blended mix of very different characters, colors and creeds. Calm, boisterous, tough, soft spoken, smart, funny, precocious, honest, private you name it. Associated by blood, marriage, adoption, friendships and associations, it doesn’t matter to me which is why I say family is not always blood. Everyone is there for a reason, some for a season or two but you feel family.
I love my people and I’m mostly an actions speak louder than words girl so they know who they are.
